Emmm…. Haven’t update for more than 1 month…. What’d happened?

I’m moving again! My hubby is being transferred to another town, another state for his ministry and yeap, we have to move to a new place. Poor to my little one who was probably intimated because the change of the living environment. She became so fussy and unsecure. Furthermore, she was getting her teething during this time - make worse. I had to spend much time to calm her down. And you know, for the first week of moving, everything was a mass. Unpacked the stuffs, arranging the furnitures and gotto apply for telephone line (and of course, the internet service as well).

At last, all is being settle down eventually. Good news! My baby is learning to walk now. And at the same time, I wish to spend some time to prepare my new online business… Errr…. I just hope to have one, but not so sure it will work or not. So I may have a bad news to all of you, I might need to rest in my newife blog for a while - maybe 2 to 3 months I think.

Please don’t forget me. I will come back to visit you all once I have setup everything. Wish you all have nice and happy day throughout the time!

Roseola Infantum - Baby Fever Rash

Posted December 17th, 2009 by catherinelst

In my previous post, I had written about what happened to my little angel, Noelle. She got her fever on her 1st Birthday :( … Today I would like to tell what happen after that…

Dear moms (especially first time moms), have you ever heard of Roseola rash? I haven’t until Noelle got this infection. Basically it is a very common disease for baby, usually happened after a baby gets fever that last for 1  to 2 days.Just like chicken pox, the Roseola rash normally happen once in a lifetime. Well, I’m not going to talk much about this since you can find many information about it if you type the word “Roseola” on any search page.

What I like to share over here is to tell all new moms that if happened your baby encounters this disease, don’t panic. Believe me, it looked horrible where there are lots of spots over your baby’s body but they are not harmful nor itchy. It will only last for 2 to 3 days then your baby will be fine and as active as before. Yeah, during the infection, my baby seems more tire and sleepy than normal days. Usually she takes 2 naps a day but she got her 3 naps a day during the infection.

Anyway, I’m happy that Noelle is much better now!

Happy Belated Birthday, Noelle!

Poor Noelle, 11th Dec by right should be her 1st Birthday. Yes, some of our church friends came to our house to celebrate with her on that night, but right after the party, I realized Noelle’s body temperature was a bit high. I believed that was the reason Noelle seems so fussy throughout the party time which I was firstly thought she was not familiar with very crowded environment.

I tried to give her some chinese traditional cooling medicine (for baby) before her sleep. The next day, she seems better but we were still bring her to see the doctor for double check. Well the doctor said she was fine but still give us some fever medicine in case the fever came back.

At night, her temperature went up again and we started to give her medicine. Thank God that she was fully recovered on Sunday. However, even she has recovered now, but still very fussy and not in good mood. Me and hubby are so tire and pray that Noelle will go back to her normal conditions, which should be a happy and active baby again!
