Since my baby turned to 4 months old, I began to give her some rice cereal for a try. The rice cereal was bought from the supermarket which is ready to eat (by just adding warm water or milk). And now, she is over 6 months old. As per my doctor, I can begin to feed her porridge. However, I face a big problem now…
If you ever try how is the taste of the cereal sold in the supermarket, you will know what is my trouble. I can say the cereal sold outside is too “comercialize”. I found it tastes too “delicious” to a baby – sweet, smooth and rich in flavour. Because of this, now my baby seems doesn’t like the porridge I prepared for her. Even I have added fish or chicken meat to bring more flavour, unless I added lots of carrot, sweet potatoes, or else she refuses to take it.
In order to encourage her to eat the porridge, I have now come out an ideal. I am now trying to add 1 or 2 spoons of the commercialize-cereal into the porridge for my baby and thank God she accepts it! Of course, sometimes I will add some vege puree into the porridge to enrich the nutritions content. I feel it looks funny but as long as my baby accepts it, better than not at all.

It’s nice to start to see people talking about child care and newborn issues more regularly more recently. Many thanks for the post, I spotted this on aol.
